Unprofessional & dishonest owner. Late 90's Honda with bad starter motor. Had to use a tow truck to workshop. The owner Garry said no parts in the country, so he would repair the starter. I paid the 1st invoice, thinking the car was repaired and working again.

These guys are really fussy when it comes to fixing your car

When I enquired again at end of the day, nothing had been done. Ranting on there were no parts in country. I asked for my car back. He argued again no parts, and I had to recondition the starter. He was very dismissive and wouldn't listen. Totally unprofessional.

He argued again: Why do you want your car? What will you do with it?

Always straight up and helpful, genuinely enthusiastic about cars of all shapes and sizes. If you drive something out of the ordinary, this is the place to go as they treat it as if it were their own.

I called another workshop about the part, and he had already asked them for help. He called back later, wow he suddenly found the part. Can have the car fixed in 3 days or so. Then the car is suddenly fixed the next day.

I replied: You can't find the part, and can't fix it. That is fine. Give the car back.

Very strange and illogical. He lied to me the whole time, running me in circles. Didn't know what he was doing. Just trying to take advantage.

Car broke down few days later, Garry said bring it back in. 2nd tow truck. Again, Garry said no parts in the country. I showed him 2 Australian suppliers that advertised the part for sale. Also at a fraction of the price he was quoting.

Save yourself the time, energy, money. Go to a more reputable workshop. If you have starter issues, use a professional auto electrician.
